Displaying the different boards and posting to them

    Hello,

    I am trying to create different kinds of boards, but I cannot get them to be displayed when people post new topics and it asks to select a board when creating a new topic. What do I need to do in order to do that? Also, is there a way for members to force to select a board instead of posting in the main feed, if that makes sense. If I need to paste the short code for each board, where do I do that?

    Hi @thetechpianoplayerkid , Thank you for using WP Discussion Board! We highly suggest to enable only or position the “Add New Topic” link on the board itself. For example https://demo.wpdiscussionboard.com/, you will notice the the “Add New topic” is located on every bottom part of each board.

    hello,

    i’m afraid I do not quite understand. Whenever I add the new boards, under the boards settings, I can add them just fine. However, when I log back in, all my previous topics that were posted are shown, but no other boards are shown. Going back to that, if I add the short code for each board to the topics page, the boards do show up, but you cannot click on them. Is there something else I’m missing? Or do I have to paste the short code for each board and next to that put the short code to add a new topic in the topics editor page? Or is it best to put it on the page where it has the short code to add a new topic?

    Hi @thetechpianoplayerkid I’m sorry to confused you! Can you please share your website link to us to check further?

    Meanwhile, if you want to load the board page when you log in back, we need to set the “Redirect on log-in” to the board page. Where in after logging in, the user will be redirected to this page.
