Displaying Single Category

  • I want to just display a single category and can achieve that comfortably with a slug-archive.php page. Each category will have its own menu item.

    My question is will this be OK if I want to do that for say, 20 different categories and for that to achieve the structure of the site or is there a better way to do it?

    You can view posts in a single category without creating a template for each. They will just just category.php/archive.php/index.php (whichever exists). You can view these pages by going to Categories, hovering over the category, and clicking View.

    In Appearance menus you can add categories as their own menu item.
