Displaying posts that are from a specific taxonomy and a specific category

Hi All,

I am working on a sports blog with Categories such as “Videos” and “Articles”.
I have also created a custom “Leagues” taxonomy which includes “NFL”, “NBA”, “NCAA” etc.

I am trying to figure out how to create a query to display all posts in the Articles category that are related to NFL (for example).

The desired result is to have “Articles” in the main navigation with the taxonomies “NFL”, “NBA”, “NCAA” as a dropdown to allow the viewer to view all articles or articles related to a specific league.

I’m sorry I don’t have any code to show. I’m still trying to wrap my head around how I am going to execute this.
