Displaying posts in columns without vertical gaps

Hello,

I’ve got the pro plugin installed on our website but the posts are not displaying as well as I’d like. The posts are set up in columns, but each row is aligned at the bottom. So post 1 in column 1 and post 2 in column 2 are aligned at the bottom; that leaves unattractive white space padding the top of the column and under subsequent posts.

I actually don’t want it set up like rows and columns but rather each column to have posts that appear one after another – just like on the columns layout sample page.

In the demo, the posts are aligned in columns and subsequent posts appear immediately after each post in their respective column, regardless of length.

What am I missing?
