Displaying posts from a category on home page (in addition to recent posts)

Hi there,

In addition to displaying the recent posts on the index page, I also want to have a section that displays posts from a certain category.

How do I do this?

Basically I want the page laid out like this:
– Recent posts
– Posts from cat 1
– Posts from cat 2
