Displaying php code in posts using WP Syntax

    Hi I am trying to display php and html code in my wordpress posts, and am using the WP Syntax however I am having some problems, one of the code blocks is not displaying the colour coding while I am also finding a / inserted in the closing php tag ?> in the first block of code. Any idea how to fix this? thanks
