Displaying Page 1 when sorting is selected

    Hi,
    I have added On-sale sorting option from the plugin. But When I click on On-sale sorting on shop page there is Page 1 getting displayed. Is it possible to blank it out since its looking too bad. See screenshot
    Can you please help me out?
