displaying only part of the comic on front page?

    hi again, I’m working on my friend’s webcomic
    itsthetie.com
    as may be apparent, his comics are really long, and getting to the bottom of the page may be cumbersome. I would like a feature that shows only part of the comic when you land on the site.. but not a ‘read more’ break because they’re not conspicuous enough, and they would require breaking the images in two parts. my friend doesn’t want that, since he would prefer it if people could save his images and repost them elsewhere with ease.
    anyone know a way?

  • Other than using the “More” tag I’m really not sure what might else do the trick. Have you see anything that does what you have in mind that you could link to here?

    not with this theme I guess.
    it’s done in some comment threads on imageboards for text.. wish the same could be done for images. but it’s a minor problem I guess, he seems to be happy with the way they’re displayed.
    do you know why changing permalinks to ‘pretty’ makes it impossible to upload full-size images? it’s been troubling me a bit.

    I have a similar issue, is there a way to reload every comic to start at the top of the screen? As it is, you will see the end of the comic first.

    Hi ryan_918 – as I told the OP, I couldn’t think of a simple way to accomplish this, but if you start a new thread and provide a link to the site, others will be more likely to see it (this thread is already marked as resolved) and perhaps someone else will have an idea.
