Displaying On Profile Page

    Hi there,

    This is another great plugin.

    Is there anyway this plugin could be worked in to display on the profile page itself rather than the sidebar?

    Maybe like a shortcode that could be added to the profile field… that way we could enjoy the full benefits of the plugin … using the full 700px width rather than squeezing it into a 300px width sidebar.

    Do you mean the Nouveau profile home page? If you yes I’ve got one coming for that, similar to this but with widgets designed to be wider – slightly different mix of widgets. Since it’s very similar to this one I thought I’d release this first then use the learning from this plugin to finalise the other if that makes sense.

    Ah yes I get you, unfortunately this is a widget specific plugin that can only be displayed in a widget area so could not be added to the profile page in that area. However I’ll take a look at supporting this in maybe another plugin, it’s an interesting idea.

    Good News!

    I’ve been playing with my forthcoming plugin – BP Profile Home Widgets which does the same thing for the wider Nouveau profile home page.

    I was able to add a widget area to the Legacy profile page and use the same widget there. I’ve submitted this plugin to WordPress so hopefully it will be launched soon, then you will have something else to play with.
