Displaying MP3's on the undex page?

Well, omething in my index.php is off…I can play MP3’s with the template of “single.php” but not with the index, or page.php!

I have been experimenting, and have figured it out for the most part…the index is using <?php the_content_rss('', TRUE, '', 20); ?> and page is php is using <?php the_content(__('Read more'));?>

The “content allows the pdcast to be displayed, but the content ALSO displays the ENTIRE content…how can I restrict the content to about 20-30 words, BUT keep the MP3 working?
