Displaying Media Credit Information Under Photo Gallery

    The credit for the photos appears just fine when the images are individually added to a post but when I create a gallery with multiple images the image credit does not display. How can I force the display of the photo credit? It doesn’t have to be right under the gallery box (though that would be ideal).

    You will have to manually add the necesary PHP code to your gallery code (how to do this depends on whether you are using the core WP gallery or some plugin. Please have a look at the FAQ for instructions how to the a media credit to a template (or shortcode, in this case).

    No I wasn’t. I am using Newspaper theme and we use the TagDiv photo gallery all the time and the photo credits don’t display when the gallery is used. So I do a work around and use the gallery title area for the photo credit.

    I just tried to have a look at it, but it seems that this is a proprietary theme without any public developer documentation. Unfortunately, this means I can’t help you with the specifics. Try asking TagDiv’s support for the relevant filter hooks of the gallery. Then you can add a call to media credit in the filter.
