    Hi

Is there a shortcode we can use to show expired (past events)? Ideally, we’d like to output another block under the events feed which will show previous events.

I did find a solution in another post on here but this seems to have a few formatting / script issues.

    Thanks

    Andy

  • Hi @dreamabstract

We don’t have any much filterable or with extra attributes but you can use [past_events] shortcode which will allow you to show expired status events.

In the future, we will extend this shortcode with many attributes.

    Thank you

    Hi Hitesh

Thanks for the clarification, it would be definitely be good to get some more options on that front. In the meantime when I try and insert the [past_events] shortcode into the Gutenberg editor, I get this error:

Updating failed. Error message: The response is not a valid JSON response.

It does seem to insert it but if you look at this page it breaks the template and seems to output the existing event feed in the wrong place

If you check the source code you’ll see what I mean

Is there an easy fix for this? The page should display with the existing events feed above the past events

For reference I am using this shortcode [events orderby=”event_start_date”]

    Hi @dreamabstract,
I understand your concern and It will be verified and fixed in the next version.
