I am using the popup to run a shortcode (created in Code Snippet) to display data in the popup that’s suppose to change each time the popup is displayed, the first time the popup is displayed the data is displayed, but, after the first load the content remains static and is not reloaded with new data each time the popup is displayed. Is there a way for the popup to reload the new contents each time it is displayed so its dynamic rather than static?

Many thanks for a possible solution

  • Hi @stephenhick,

Sure, I will be happy to assist you in resolving your issue.

Yes, this is the expected behavior of the “Popups for Divi” plugin, and to resolve the same, you will need to switch to the “Divi Areas Pro” plugin, which supports dynamic elements.

You can find more information about the same here: https://divimode.com/divi-areas-pro/

I hope this information helps. Please do not hesitate to ask any further questions. Thank you.

    Many thanks for your reply.

Is it simply a matter of getting “Divi Areas Pro” and then adding the Divi Code module to a popup and placing my shortcut code that then runs the code to display the popup content I want, in which it will be then Dynamic, that’s is, the shortcut is run each time the popup is displayed on the same page, or is there coding I would need to add to make it dynamic? My application is that I have a table in which when the user double clicks on a cell it will open the popup with information that’s related to the cell, thus the need for the popup to rerun the shortcut each time its displayed. Thanks for getting back to me to confirm what I am seeking is a simple process when using Divi Areas pro.

    Hi @stephenhick,

Sure, I will guide you further, as there is no reference to your site and code snippet to test and confirm the same; I am limited to confirming your use case.

Could you please share your site test page with a popup enabled, so I can confirm the same for you?

Yes, as mentioned, it is simple and clear. However, (in rare case) if it still doesn’t support it, you can follow our guide below.

Further, you are fully protected by a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee when you subscribe to “Divi Areas Pro,” this will help you test and confirm your use case and reach us if you encounter any issues via our support channel.

I will be looking forward to your response. Thank you.
