Thanks for the positive feedback and for your question. You can create a “Dimensions” column in the Media/Assistant submenu table by defining a custom field and adding it to the table. You can find more information about mapping data sources like dimensions to custom fields in the “Custom Field and Attachment Metadata Processing Options” section of the Settings/Media Library Assistant Documentation tab. The “Custom Fields” tab is where you will define the rule. You can use any of the “Field-level data sources” listed in the Documentation tab. For your specific case, the dimensions
data source should give you what you want:
- Navigate to the Settings/Media Library Assistant “Custom Fields” tab.
- Make sure the “Enable custom field mapping when adding new media” box is checked. If not, check the box, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click “Save Changes”.
- Scroll down to the “Add a new Field and Mapping Rule” area.
- In the first text box, give your field a name, e.g., “Dimensions”.
- From the Data Source dropdown list, select “dimensions”.
- In the “Existing Text” dropdown list, select “Replace”.
- In the “Format” dropdown list, select “Native”.
- Click the “MLA Column” check box to make the field available in the Media/Assistant submenu table. You can also click the “Quick Edit” and “Bulk Edit” check boxes to make the field available in the Media/Assistant submenu table Quick Edit and Bulk Edit areas if that’s useful for you.
- In the “Option:” dropdown list, select “Text”.
- Click the “Delete NULL Values” checkbox.
- Click the “Add Field and Map All Attachments” button to save your work and create the “Dimensions” value for the items already in your Media Library.
I hope that gives you the information you need to get the table column you want. I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have any problems or further questions regarding the above suggestions. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
