Displaying customely added events in the backend
-
Hi, – using events manager free version 5.6.2 –
I have done alot of customizations using this plugin as a base. The important part is that I am adding events in the database in a custom way. I am adding the event post type as well as the event in your custom db table.
For some reason, the ones I am adding in a custom way won’t show up the backend where all the events are listed (edit.php?post_type=event). I am also adding some events using the admin, and these ones are normally displaying.
I have been looking at the differences in between one custom event and one “normally added” event in the database, trying to find the reason why my custom ones won’t show up, but haven’t found anything yet. What I mean is the database fields (event CTP and db event) seems to be the same, but the behavior in the backend is not.
My question : is there anything you (the plugin devs) programmed in events manager that alters the normal behavior of wordpress displaying CPTs in admin? If so, could you help me figuring what is it so what can implement it to my functions, in the goal of reproducing the behavior of EM in that regards.
I hope I was clear enough in my context and question. No expecting a line of code, more an understanding of the EM behavior regarding this.
Thanks for the plugin, and I would really appreciate any help.
Francis
