Hello, I’m a relative noob to the wordpress world. So here’s what i’m trying to do: I have downloaded the theme zeeBizzCard and have implemented it on my new site (only four pages: home, portfolio, resume, and contact). One thing i figured out is that the theme creator made a custom post type called “portfolio”. I can input my content into that post type. however, i’m baffled on how to make my portfolio “page” actually display the portfolio “content” i’m creating. the Lynda.com video, very helpful, but kinda confused me here since they use different terminology than the theme creator does. thanks in advance for all your help!

I have added the zeeBizzCard tag to this topic, so perhaps the author of the theme will be along to help, or maybe another person who has used the theme.

I have downloaded and had a look at the theme files (but not installed it) and I notice there is a readme.txt file – have a look at that.

I had a peek at the readme & it looks like you need to create a new empty page to show your portfolio and select either of the portfolio templates (2 or 3 column).

Oh, CRAP! Nice job, cubecolour, that worked! I thought i could just edit the page i already had made, but when i created a new page, changed the template to 2-column, puttered around with a few other settings that really didn’t do anything, and then clicked on view page – BAM! – all content was there.

Thanks for your looking at it and giving input! I really appreciate it! happy new year!

I don’t have the theme installed, so I don’t know anything about it other than what I’ve posted I’m afraid, but I’ve tagged this topic with the theme name, so if the author is monitoring the forum maybe he’ll be along. He also has some documentation at https://themezee.com/wordpress-theme-setup-tutorial/ – maybe there’s something there that might be relevant?

I’ve also downloaded this theme and have problems with the shortcodes that are offered to display ‘resume’ and ‘skills’.
Wordpress is a fairly new thing to me, so I read through all the documentation that came with the zip file but couldn’t find any additional explanations.

I also can’t find a way how to display the ‘personal details’ and ‘contact information’ from the theme options in any of my pages.

Does anyone know what I’m doing wrong here?

I’m running in to the same issue with this theme. The shortcode tools are failing to actually add any data to the post/page.

By the way, when I rebuilt my site live on godaddy, rather than on localhost, this issue seemed to go away. The creators of zeebizzcard have been almost entirely unresponsive to any questions though.
