    Hello,

I would like to display checkboxes based on the selection of 2 radio buttons, always directly below the radio button. Now using rules I am able to display the checkboxes only in a new row below the row with radio buttons. Is there any way to insert the checkboxes in the radio buttons row?

    Thank you for the answer.

    Hi @mrhaza

    I hope you’re well today!

It’s not possible to place “field inside another field” and that’s not even much of a Forminator issue but rather related to how forms work.

It may be possible to do some sort of a workaround – that would look a bit similar to what you described – with a mix of form configuration and CSS but to check it and confirm I’d need to be able to check particular form as it depends on how it works and its complexity. I’d rather not make promises but we’ll be happy to take a look and see what could possibly be done.

Would you export the form in question and share it with us? To share the form it’s best to put export file on Google Drive, Dropbox or similar account and respond here with a direct link to it.

If you do that, let us also know which fields should go exactly where on form so we could check it. We’ll then see if this can be achieved and if yes – we’ll let you know how.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hello,

Thank you very much for your efforts and I am sending a link to the exported form: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1B7n4874fJPdByN7XT_i2srjJXRqTZJuo/view?usp=sharing

The {Checkbox-1} should appear below the first option from {Radio-1}.

    Thank you for your reply.

    Hi @mrhaza

Thanks for response and sharing the form!

I’ve checked it and did some testing (on this form and on another simple form that I created from scratch) and I’m afraid there’s no reliable solution for this for now.

It would require quite a complex custom code (at least JS+CSS) and even then it’s quite likely that such code could “mess up” visibility rules that are used on form.

I’m really sorry we can’t help you mow with this for now. It maybe be possible in future as we do have some plans for improvements in plugin code related to this kind of usage but I don’t have any ETA on this yet.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
