Displaying a testimonial excerpt

    If you’re looking specifically to only show excerpts when they exist, then you need Testimonials Widget Premium at https://aihr.us/downloads/testimonials-widget-premium-wordpress-plugin/. This will also enable read more links and lots more for you, like ratings.

    If you’re looking to show a more consistent length of content as an “excerpt”, then set your char_limit to a lower number like 250 or so. That does seem to be what you’re doing already though.
