So I’m actually using WP 2.7 for my blog. It looks great in FireFox but not in Internet Explorer. There appears to be 2 issues:

    1. The sidebar does not appear in Internet Explorer.

    2. My page is set to display the 10 last posts. Currently I only see 2… at most.

I only have 2 plugins installed (diggZ-Et and user photo) and am using the Delight Theme (though switching back to the default theme doesn’t appear to help).

Are there any known issues with WP working with IE? When I first set this up it displayed great in both browsers…

    bump.

This is probably not WP but to be sure, are you using the WP default theme?

If not, then the issue may be with the theme you are using. Over the years, I have had issues with themes not being cross browser compatible.

If using a 3rd party theme, try switching to WP default. If it works, you have your answer.

If the default cannot be used because it perhaps does not support the number of columns, etc, then try another theme.

    Luck!

Thanks for the advice. I see the same behavior using the default theme, so I don’t believe that is it (I switched back to the default theme this morning again to see… nadda). I *was* using this theme successfully for a few months with both browsers being supported just as well.

I found the problem. One of my guest writers inserted some funky encoding stuff (probably copy and pasted from a word document?) that buggered the rest of the site.

I now need to ask how she did that. =\
