display_content=”true” strips all html tags

Hi!
i just tried this plugin for the first time. After reading plenty of tutorials and documents, (the possibilities seem endless) i ended up using the shortcode below in order to display only the content of the latest post of a certain category:
[display-posts category=”mycategory” include_title=”false” include_content=”true”?posts_per_page=”1″ wrapper=”div” wrapper_class=”td-post-content” order=”ASC”]
I use the newspaper theme.
It does what it supposed to but it strips down all html tags of the content and finally displays a block of continuous text.
any suggestions?
