Display WordPress Posts – An error occurred fetching the remote data

    I am getting an error on “Display WordPress Posts” section, stating this:

    “An error occurred fetching the remote data”
    Detailed information:
    Forbidden

    I have three “Display WordPress Posts” sections on my site, each linking to another website of my own. (three other sites). Two of them work OK, one does not.

    Display WordPress Posts shows on the bottom of abcdiamond.com and the 2nd Recent Posts should show posts from brisbanebayside.com

    Any idea why it doesn’t.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    Jetpack uses your site’s XML-RPC file to communicate with WordPress.com, and thus index your posts. Unfortunately I cannot access that file on that site at the moment:
    https://www.brisbanebayside.com/xmlrpc.php

    If you use a security plugin to block access to the file, you’ll need to configure it to allow incoming and outgoing connections to /xmlrpc.php.

    If you do not use such plugin, you’ll want to contact your hosting provider and ask them if they currently block access to your site’s XML-RPC file.
