Display View Counts on wp-admin’s All Posts page disappeared
-
I inherited a site from a person, made a duplicate of it using a plugin, changed the theme and design, and pushed it to production. Everything worked fine, except for one thing: the /wp-admin/edit.php All Posts page no longer lists the column called Views. The old site does, and when I use the Screen Options link in the upper right, Views is one of the checkboxes listed, but on the new site it’s not listed. Both sites are running 5.5.3. And I didn’t edit ANY of the WP core files, just the files in the child theme, which should have no impact on the admin section at all.
Any thoughts on why that particular column disappeared and is no longer available to view? The people that manage the site really want that column back. Thank you.
