The current user field will look to the current logged in user, not the displayed one

Like other users are looking for this feature, there is a code snippet that will force to shortcodes and widgets placed on BuddyPress profile to use the displayed user instead of the current logged in:

I tried the code snippet you provided, copied entire code and pasted in my child theme functions as instructed, but it does not change the display. it still only shows my points, not the user I am viewing… Any ideas what I missed?

The snippet code is looking to widgets that has the field “Current User” checked, to replace the default current logged in user to the BuddyPress current displayed user

So you need:
1 – Place the widgets with the field “Current User” checked
2 – The snippet to override default GamiPress behavior with current user
