    Hello,

    Love the product!

On the menu it displays pages, that’s great and works well. 1 thing I am in need of is to display say the username of the person logged in and their account balance on that menu either above or below the navigation pages. Also to have a “log off” link would be great as well.

I do not see an option to customize the menu like this, only able to add actual pages.

    Any help would be great!

PS If I were to buy the pro version, am I required to purchase a theme with it? The free theme is enough for me so I am not sure why purchasing it would be required… Also buy purchasing pro is that a 1 time cost or reoccurring every year? I know the support is good for 1 year

    Thanks again!

    Hi,

WPtouch Pro themes are fully customizable, so if you’re comfortable working with regular themes in WordPress, you should be able to customize WPtouch Pro to do this.

While you can edit the theme in WPtouch (free), the changes will be overwritten each time you update the plugin/theme. In WPtouch Pro, you can create child themes that will survive upgrades.

Yes, WPtouch Pro requires that a minimum of once license and one theme are purchased. The Bauhaus theme in Pro includes many extra features. Licenses are good for one year. Your WPtouch Pro powered website will continue to work as normal even if you decide not to renew after one year. You just won’t have access to future updates or support.

Thank you so much for the quick response!

I am more than likely going to purchase the pro version to keep changes I make with the updates and the price is very reasonable, I just want to see how it functions with the site and the user response before doing that.

Are you able to explain how to make these changes to the menu that I described above? I currently use sidebar login plugin for user account information, MyCred plugin for the balances and monetary, and I have a simple code for log off that is not associated with a plugin.

I am able to customize WordPress so I should be able to do this for the menu, not sure where to start?

    Hi,

Essentially, you’ll want to start by creating a child of your WPtouch Pro theme per the instructions here Themes

You’ll be able to fully customize the theme. Meaning, anything that can be done to a regular WordPress theme, can be done to a WPtouch Pro theme.

Editing WPtouch Pro theme template files works just like it does in a regular theme. Just make sure you’re editing the child theme’s files (/wp-content/wptouch-data/themes/YOUR_CHILD_THEME_/default

Ill get to work on that now…

Do you know why on the withdrawal page there is a gray outline? also on the profile page nothing is displayed? it used to show it correctly then all of a sudden stopped? this also had a gray outline like the withdrawal page has. These issues are only on the mobile. Ive tried removing the page and adding it again, no change.
