Display Title as a Caption in a WordPress Gallery

Hi,

I found an old post from 3 years ago with a piece of code to add to do this but it doesn’t seem to work… I’m guessing it doesn’t work because of updated versions of WordPress and the default Gallery plugin… So my question is, is there a way to automatically have a WordPress Gallery display the title of each picture as a caption? Going through and captioning 100 pictures when the title already has the exact caption I need to display is gonna take a long time and an easier way would be amazingly helpful.
