Display thumbnail of post/event in activity feed?

Hi,

I am not going to implement any special handling of any kind of content.

The plugin simply posts a link to the original post, letting WordPress do it’s own oembed.

The only extra feature that is planned for this plugin some day is letting admin define default privacy and optionally let users override it.

To my own PeepSo localhost, it looks good. But on peepso.com it shows basically an empty rectangle. Let’s wait for 1.5.2 to be publicly available, because that’s what I’m using at the moment. We should be releasing today.

This looks like a PeepSo embed issue, perhaps sort of a plugin/css conflict or something. Nothing this particular plugin can change/fix.

My posts are not being automatically added to my activity stream. Can you help me figure out why?

try disabling “Let the users decide” in the backend, I’m not sure if it’s properly implemented.

If it does help, let me know, I’ll try to fix it in my spare time.

I tried that and it didn’t work. But nothing I post to my network is being published – not status updates, videos, etc.

This plugin creates a PeepSo stream item only when you publish a new blogpost. Doesn’t really deal with videos and such.

I’ve revisited this issue.

Deactivated all plugins apart from all of PeepSo, this one and the new Reactions plugin. Switched to 2010 theme.

Created new post and it still is not displaying the post in the PeepSo stream as expected: https://www.staging1.ilovetrancemusic.com/activity/

This has been figured out to be a bug inside PeepSo itself – when too many links are present in activity stream, they don’t embed properly. It seems to break around 5 links on a single screen. If you set the limit to 5 activities, it should start working fine with the infinite scroll, unless the speed of the server / internet is a factor as well. PeepSo Core should address this issue in the 1.6.0 release, but there is no timeline yet.

Upgraded all plugins and limited to 4 activities and no change. Will wait for 1.6.0 ??
