Display text per month

  • I’m just wondering if there is a way to display text in the sidebar on a monthly basis. I’d like to find a plugin to make life easier… but if not I’m thinking a table in the database with 12 rows and a way to call specific row based on the Month.

    I didn’t come across any plugins in my searches, so if anyone has any good ideas for designing a table and the correct <?php tags() ?> to call it, it would be greatly appreciated and or a plugin or incl. wp-feature I don’t know about.

    Any help would be great… even some help with an if statement that pulls info for the current date. I need it to display a picture and a text link depending on the month.
