    Hi there.

    Really like the plugin. One problem though. I customized the text fields on the settings but when I used the plugin it doesn’t show the text I put in for display on:

    the review form submit button
    text displayed above review form

    I think it only shows the plugin default text.

    Please note that I used some css codes from this forum so that the show review button won’t be necessary and the form will always appear on the page. These codes are:
    #wpcr_respond_1 p { display:none!important; }
    #wpcr_respond_2 { display:block!important; }

    I do hope you can help me with this as I am planning to use this plugin for my site.

    Thanks!

    Hi!

    I didn’t get any response about this issue. Is there anyone who can help me out here?

    Hi there. I just installed today and had the same problem.

    I don’t know what you mean by “text displayed above review form”. I don’t get that.

    But the text on the button: This is the procedure I used.

    1 – You have to open the wp-customer-reviews.php file.
    2 – Use the find button in your text editor and type in the default text, “Click here to submit review” I think it is.

    3 – Change it to what you want and save the file.

    4 – Then you have to go back into the settings and change the text there and save the settings.

    That should change the text on the button.

    Hope that helps.

    I see what you mean now. I used the shortcodes you posted so the form shows by default. Now I get the text at the top.

    My instructions still work for the button, but I’m working at the heading text.

    Okay. Well, I got tired of messing with it. But here is the css id:

    #wpcr_postcomment

    I just used #wpcr_postcomment{display:none;}

    And got rid of the text altogether. I’m not sure right now what css property might handle it.

    We’re working on a new version which should resolve this issue. Right now some settings can get stuck without being used. The new logic will also provide more abilities to customize the templates.
