Display Sub Item on hiver

    Hei

    Using Max mega Menu ( free licence), I have a Mega Menu with 15 items in 5 columns.
    Some of items have subitems… Then the rendering of the menu is not what I would like to see : some lines are higher than other ( because of the subitems)

    Is it a way to display the subitem after a user-click/touch ( aading a down arrow icon on the parent item) ? or on hover over the parent item?

    Hi Root,

    When the sub menu display mode is set to “Mega Menu”, all menu items will always be displayed. It’s not possible to have sub sub items in a mega menu display only on hover (that is only possible when the sub menu display mode is set to Flyout Menu). Maybe you could make each column wider and have them display on 2 rows, or modify the menu item titles so that they are shorter and sit on one line nicely.

    Thanks for your answer. I was trying to avoid the The Flyout Menu, which is not so user-friendly when the list of items is long. That’s why I came to Max mega Menu.

    I think I’ll keep the “Mega Menu” mode. And then remove my subitems. The user will have to visit the page for a parent item so he/she can access to the list of the subitems.
    So, with just items without children, I simplyfy the way the “Mega Menu” is displayed.
