When an order is placed in WooCommerce, Stripe checks the inputted zip code with the one on file with the bank. If they do not match, the order fails. This is a good thing.

However, the customer is not alerted to why the order failed.

Is there a way to display an error message so the customer understands what happened and can try again?

    Hi @kpry44,

I’d like to know a bit further about how this setup is done since it appears not to be the default behavior of our Stripe plugin.

Can you please confirm the active Stripe plugin and how you configured this behavior?

Please share a screenshot of the error message about incorrect Zip code too.

I recommend https://snipboard.io/ for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL(s) in your reply.

There should be a way but will require custom codes probably. Let’s see from the details you provide next.

    Thank you for the response.

So I am not sure what changed, but upon reviewing the symptom, everything is now working as I expect it to. Perhaps a caching issue?

    Sorry for the hassle.

    Appreciate the great plugin.
