I would like to use a slider to display reviews from google. I would like to change the display to show no picture and adjust the heading ONLY on the slider display. I am using the short code [reviews_rating id=”1″] [reviews_rating id=”5″] etc for each slide. How can I change these settings.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@richard2x2 Thanks for your feature request. This plugin does not currently support carousel or slider functionality.

This will be developed in the future as I know there is a demand for this. However, I have worked on creating other functionality and customizations that do not exist in the www.remarpro.com catalogue of review/rating plugins.

If you drop me an email (worpress dash plugin at designextreme dot com), I will notify you when this feature is available. I do not have a timeframe yet.

@richard2x2 I have just checked your website, and I would recommend using one of the Dark themes, perhaps 3 columns with bubbles (filled or otherwise). This theme (like all others) is completely responsive. View the Shortcode tab for other customizations (such as hiding some of the summary, review item ordering, etc.)

Also how to increase the number of reviews retrieved, when I select 15 it only shows five and if I say all it only shows five.

@richard2x2 As detailed in the FAQ, the API only sends through 5 reviews at a time. Please view the FAQ for more details and some advice about how to get them all.

How long does it take to “process” adding all the reviews?

    Plugin Author Design Extreme

    (@designextreme)

@richard2x2 Process? You’ll receive new, relevant reviews over time. It is unlikely that the previous 52 reviews will appear unless you collect these using the HTML Import feature. However, if you wait a little you’ll get the newer, relevant reviews when they appear in the Google search results.

If you mean process the HTML Import: this is immediate when these reviews are imported using the functionality in the Advanced tab.

@richard2x2 Oh, it should be showing the correct values. Someone else has made me aware of this issue. I’m working with another user to fix this for the next version.

What browser and OS are you using for the HTML Import?

    chrome windows 7

I can try on windows 10 if it matters

@richard2x2 Thanks, I’ll look into this further and provide a fix in the next version. I thought I fixed it already, but may have missed something.

I’ll post a reply here when the HTML Import is fixed.

Great, I will look forward to it. Any way to display specific reviews instead of the top 5? My client wants some specific reviews shown.

    Plugin Author Design Extreme

    (@designextreme)

@richard2x2 Yes, please look at the parameter: id in the Shortcodes tab. You can select individual reviews by their ID as denoted in the Reviews tab.

@richard2x2 There are also plenty of sorting options available either in the main Setup or as a parameter. You can even search review text for words that include or exclude them from the display.
