Display random posts plug-in in WP theme, NOT sidebar?

Is there a plug-in that I can use to display about 10 random posts in the WP theme (in a list format). And if possible with the option to add/change the posts you want to display on that list and add to sidebar.

I display on the main page 6 new posts and the rest goes to Archives or you can access them via a category. Therefore would like to have a list of posts in the sidebar that would list some of the older posts.

I have the most popular, commented plugins but it is not want I want to list.

PS: If I want it to be displayed I think I will need to add a code to the theme ?
