Display Random Posts?

Thanks for writing in. The Post Grid block will let you add a list of blog posts, but we currently don’t have an option for a random output. We’ll definitely consider this though!

Widgets are a core feature, so Atomic Blocks doesn’t have any particular way of working with them. You can insert some of the widgets directly into the page by using the widget blocks.

Soon, you’ll be able to use all the widgets in defined widget areas. This is still under development by the core team though.

Jumping on this topic to ask how to add a list of blog posts to the Post Grid block? I have specific posts/pages I would like to add to the grid instead of having it pull from a Category. Thank you!

I am not sure if you are wanting to load both post and pages in the same block, which will not be possible. If that is not the goal, then i would just make specific categories for grouping the pages or posts you are trying to group together.

(i hope this makes sense, sorry if it is confusing)

Hi Madison, Thanks for the response. From the Plugin Author’s above comment, it sounds to me like you can put specific posts (a list of posts) into a grid block. So I’m trying to find out how to do that. Using a unique category won’t work because I need to be able to control the order in which the posts show up in the grid block.

So hopefully someone can tell me how to do that because I can’t figure it out! Thanks ??
