Display product thumbnails as carousel?

    Hello,
    I have a page that looks like this: https://d.pr/i/GBP4Qd – 8 thumbnails are displayed. I can see that these 8 pictures are wrapped into this code https://d.pr/i/PWY3jL – so Flexslider is used here.

    I do want to achieve that 3 or 4 images are visible at one time in one row and a bullet navigation should be visible below the images to switch to the other 4-5 images. How can I do that? Where can I change the flexslider options for this gallery and how can I modify these upgrade safe? I was not able to find a solution for this.

  • There will be some Javascript that should control the thumbnails. There’s a good chance this will work fine when its on its own.

    Typically this Javascript will fail because there is some unrelated Javascript in the page which is failing, and one trip can cause the rest to fail. Have a look at the console (Chrome: right click > inspect – console tab) to look for Javascript errors.

    If that doesn’t identify the problem, you could try deactivating other plugins. If it works now, reactivate one-by-one and test to try to identify the software element that is causing the problem.

    I’m in the dark here. If you can post your site url it may help diagnose the problem.

    Hello lorro,
    are you saying that my intended functionality is the standard and it may be caused due to some JS conflict that it is not shown like I want it to be?

    I took a look at my testsystem and there is no JS error on that page. I think that I might need to change the flexslider setting for the thumbnail, but currently I do not know if that’s possible.

    Hi there!

    By default all the thumbnails will show (though usually not as cramped as in your screenshot.

    There are some plugins that will change this to a slider instead, for example:

    Else you could custom code it to change the functionality.
