Hello everyone- I am creating a Woo shop with WP 6.4.3 default child theme of 2024. I am not too keen to use any non-block Woo themes. It’s going absolutely fine but I ran into an issue where I want to display ONLY the Product Categories in a GridView. I did’t see any such block though I can see a block “Product Categories” which only displays product categories in a list or a dropdown view.

Need assistance ASAP.

I understand you’re seeking to display your product categories in a GridView but have been unable to find a suitable block within WooCommerce to achieve this.

Currently, WooCommerce does not offer a block that displays Product Categories in a grid view directly.

Given that you are using a TT4 child theme, I would suggest posting this query to their support forum as well for more tailored advice.

For enhancing your Blocks feature, you might consider using a third-party plugin that adds additional block widgets to your site, such as the Spectra.

ok Zubair, I’ll consider this as trivial as I can always create static link blocks to display all categories in a gridview. BUT I also ran into another issue with displaying a hyperlinked “short_description”.

The short_description is a hyperlink and it doesn’t show as a hyperlink as it is on https://b2bleads.capstonebpo.com/tokoo/product/accountants-new-jersey-usa/

Just to note, the short description appears as a functional hyperlink on my end. In bold, all caps, blue letters.

Consider adding a note, or similar, in a parenthesis, for providing further clarity, perhaps?

Sorry, I gave you the link to my old website where I was using an external 3rd party non-block theme and it works there.

I am re-developing the website with the WP default TT4 block theme and Woo. Here is the link where the short_description DOES’NT show as hyperlinked. https://b2bleads.capstonebpo.com/product/accountants-new-jersey-usa/

The “VIEW SAMPLE” is hyperlinkedin when I added that product as you can see it in https://b2bleads.capstonebpo.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/add-product.jpg
