I recently set up a new site with some fellow blogging chums, and lo and behold I got left with the job of coding a new theme together. It is based on the Kubrick theme, just altered some of the images and stuff.

Using 2.7 RC1 if that helps.

However I have just been made aware of some problems viewing the site in IE7, no sidebar and the post at the end of the page is getting cut off.

I think they are the only problems with IE7.

  • Do not copy and paste from MS Word because it adds junky code that IE hates. Either remove the bad code or repaste your text from a text editor like notepad. The bad code starts with:

    <!--[if gte mso 9]><xml>

Ok thanks for the tip! I will go through and see what the other guys have been doing.

I assume that using the HTML editor means that shit doesn’t appear? I’ve always used that and had no problems myself, but I know some of the other guys use the visual editor when copying over from Word and stuff.

It’s probably due to the visual editor, otherwise the weird Word code should have been noticed.
