Display posts on page as sliding menu

Hi all,

I may be in over my head with this, but here goes.

I’m trying to find a way to create a responsive, sliding / hamburger menu of my site’s posts, to be embedded in a static page.

I need it to be based entirely on what posts I choose and in what order, not to list posts only by date or author or category.

Basically, I want all post titles hidden until a visitor clicks on the category, and then I want the titles to slide out.

Some categories are more sub-categories, and so I cannot have this plugin based only on how the posts are categorized; I need to set which categories are “primary” and so on.

Is there anything that does this? I swear I’ve tried a dozen plugins today and looked at fifty more, but everything either doesn’t give me enough control or can only work as a proper menu rather than a page embed.
