Display Posts in Columns or from Left to Right?

Hi Bill,
I am using the plugin to build a visual index. You can see what I’m trying to do by clicking here are clicking the “Visual Index” tab:

The question is, how do I get these images to appear next to each other, rather than in one long column? I need to be able to do this on a per-case basis, since I use the plugin’s shortcodes on the regular indexes to display in single columns.
