Display posts in ascending date order

  • I know this is a well hashed out subject with a multitude of solutions.

    However I am working on a plugin where a Table of Contents is displayed for a category and selected posts are displayed, using ajax, on the same page. “First Prior Next Last” links are also displayed for the post.

    I do this without modifying or adding any posts.

    My question is am I reinventing the wheel?
