Display Post by Category

    I am trying to use WP for a poet to post poems and to blog but I want to keep the poems and the blog seperate.

    Can I put each post type in its own category (post and poem) and display only poems on one page and only posts on another?

    It sounds a bit like the Can I have two blogs? question which so far, I only seem to read on the forum that it can’t be done.

    Just a little more would be helpful.

    After more reading I think that it has something to do with categories and The Loop.

    Categories are listed separately in their own pages/listings by default. If you need to exclude certain categories from your main blog page, you’ll need to use a custom query.
