    Hi,

Is there any option to display player stats game by game? Because for now there is only league or season stats.

    Best Regards!

@nicksanders9 Unfortunately, it appears they won’t ever come out with that feature, although it is one of the most highly requested and has been for almost 2 years (in January it will be). I have been begging and waiting specifically for this feature, that others have been easily able to accomplish with their own code, but holding onto false hope I am starting to believe.

I would not recommend purchasing the pro version either. Very limited differences between free vs pro, barely any updates or any new features, and “support” pretty much tells you the same stuff you find in the forums anyways, while taking over 24 hrs usually to respond. Other sites do a lot more for a lot less and handle everything for you, so it may be best to check any alternatives.

It’s odd that you weren’t provided a link either for this.. they usually tell you to submit the idea on their ideabord and if it gets enough interest they will implement (they wont) but it’s fun to see how long and how many people want simple features. In case you were wondering, I can provide it for you:

Thanks @rochesterj for replying.. but I seriously recommend if you guys possibly put this in your next update… there is no other way to do that except hiring a dev.. If there’s a plugin that could do it then i am sure a lot of people who own online gaming sites gonna buy it for sure!

@trauma717 I just hope they do it.. i can’t find anything else that can do it.. And yeah I have voted for your idea on that link too!

@nicksanders9 if you’re using Visual Composer plugin you can check the following code of the Player Game-by-Game Stats element https://gist.github.com/danfisher85/c90168a0275f0ca89ef9abc519f55be8 and it looks like https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/08d6b9qm02

@trauma717 I can’t agree with you. Guys from the SportsPress team are doing a great job! They constantly improve existing functionality and add new features. Anyway, I understand your frustration. I also want to see some features to be implemented faster, but they have to prioritize some features.
And btw, Player Game-by-Game stats is not something difficult to implement, besides I’ve provided a fully working code ??

    Best Regards!

@ramzesimus you are right, i went a little overboard after re-reading what I typed. It is just a feature I have been dying to see since purchasing the Pro version and I do love what SportsPress does, I just wish it would do a little more. I knew it was possible to show stats by game under player profiles because I read it before, but did not realize it was you that wrote it! Thank you for sharing!

So does that code simply get added inside the Visual Composer plugin and then it automatically shows up under player profiles for everyone or are additional steps needed?

@ramzesimus any guidance perhaps on how I can implement this and get it to work? I would love to implement this myself if possible, but not sure where to start. any help would be much appreciated! Thank you

    Hi guys!

Thanks for all the suggestions and your feedback. We do try our best to implement the most upvoted ideas (such as livescoring and the referees) but some are just harder.

That being said, we do have a featured planned for the next release that may help you guys with that. We’ll implement a feature that is going to allow mid-season transfers (and therefore mid-season stats). I’ll suggest our team to push it further and maybe implement event-based stats, which could help you on what you are trying to achieve.

Let’s see what they think about it, and if it’s possible to implement it as we all want.

    Thanks!

@rochesterj thanks for the update! I did read about the new, planned updated features coming to SportsPress and the one you mentioned about mid season transfers sounded similar to this, but doesn’t appear to do exactly what we were looking for. The screenshot @ramzesimus included shows individual game stats for that specific player under their profile. This would be amazing and would make researching a player (i.e. how they stack up against +500 avg team vs a -500 avg team, avg runs or passes against teams in certain conferences, how well a player plays against one team vs another, etc) a lot easier! I wish I knew more about code and how to properly implement this as I would be more than happy to assist with this process!

@ramzesimus speaking of which, is there any possible way you could maybe offer some guidance or additional, quick steps on how to implement the code you provided? I would love to check it out, however, the few tests I have tried to implement your code has failed for me. Any help/guidance would be appreciated! Thank you!

Indeed, this feature is a bit more complex, and only our dev team can tell how far we are from it.

As far as I know the mid-season transfer by itself is a big change, as it requires a new way of storing data (and backwards compatibility is always an issue).

    Thanks!

@trauma717 currently the solution I posted can be used in Visual Composer plugin only. You can check the next article for more info https://www.wpelixir.com/how-to-create-new-element-in-visual-composer/

@ramzesimus thanks for the information, but unforutnately, that article is pretty hard to follow and does not make too much sense to me. I would love to see this in a video tutorial of some sort. I planned to make one myself while giving you credits for the code, but I cannot figure this out unfortunately and have no idea where to start. I am also using DiviBuilder and not VC, so I feel like this is a bust, although both plugins are the same concept…HOpefully this gets implemented soon as this would be a huge gamechanger.. until then, guess we will have to patiently wait longer…

Me too my friend i have this website for online dress up games https://al3abtalbisa.com/ and i want to change my all games on a default theme please and thank you brother.
