    Hello!
Is it possible to display PDF files in a way that PDF Embedder does it?
I have an idea for a workaround: I created a rich text field and put PDF Embedder shortcode in it. It works fine, but the problem is that users have to upload the file first and then save their profile, and after that they can get the PDF file link to put it in PDF Embedder shortcode. I hope I explained it correctly.
Is it possible to do that in PDb? Or something simmilar?
    Thank you!

You won’t be able to display the PDF until the user uploads it and saves their profile anyway. After that, there will be a clickable link, which in most browsers will display the PDF when clicked. This is, however, according to the configuration of the user’s browser, the plugin doesn’t do this.

If you know how the Embedder javascript code works, you can probably set it up so the embedder works on the regular link to the pdf file the Participants Database shows, no need to put it into a rich text field.

There is a javascript uploader in my Image Expansion Kit add-on that can be used for PDF files. With that one, the PDF can be clicked on and displayed as soon as it is uploaded, no need to save the profile.
