Display past events in list view

There is no option to hide past events in list view; did you do it via CSS?

No, there’s no CSS hiding anything, there are several past events that simply don’t show up.
To be clear: this concerns earlier instances of repeating events.

I think it was an option in shortcode or template, where you could even set the number of past events to be shown.
This was an option in an earlier version (over a year ago), there has been a major update since then so I’m assuming it has been removed?

Sounds like you’re referring to the upcoming event list, in which case that might be the setting for how many past events to show. It’s not a “hide” toggle, but a setting that controls how many past events should be listed. Set to 0, it would be none.

Ah, thank you, that’s where the setting is hidden!
It’s quite confusing because the template manual clearly states: “Upcoming events you will be able to show only the events coming up in the future.” So I did not explore this option.

In the shortcode generator it says indeed you can set ‘Events/Days Before Current Day’, but it seems only possible to set the number of events. How do I set the number of days before current day?

It’ll depend on whether you’re displaying the upcoming list based on days or events.

If ‘type of upcoming events list’ is set to ‘Events’, then it’s events; if it’s set to ‘Days’, then it’s days.

(Also, I updated the docs; I can see what that was trying to communicate, but it was not at all clear.)
