Display particular person on a page

In a Staff List Pro, shortcode has a category parameter. You could create a category and assign it to a specific record. There is no free version equivalent.

I think it’s a good idea to have such option. I’ll try to include it in the next version of the plugin.

Meantime you can create a new template and have just one staff member assigned to it.

I was thinking about creating a new template, but wouldn’t I have to create the person twice. Once for the “staff list” and once for the “new template”?

Do you need this workaround for just one record or for many?

Starting with version 0.4.3 there is an option to add Staff ID to a shortcode. It can be list or a single page shortcode.
Example :

[abcf-staff-single id=”6030″ staff-id=”5909]

did you think to enhance it by using the pretty permalink in addition to the staff-id?

It would be much easier to address staff-ppl=”jane-doe” than to look through all the staff members for the ids.

It wasn’t a new question, you simply misunderstood me.
I know there is a pretty link for the single page, but that was not the question.
You added staff-id as a filter option:
[ abcf-staff- ….. staff-id=”5909″]

My question was if you thought about a more readable filter like
[ abcf-staff- ….. staff-permalink=”doe-jane”]

You more often know the name of the staff member than it’s wordpress id.
