Display Other Files in initial list

My client would like to have the other files displayed in the initial list of publications instead of having to click on the publication and going to its single page before those options are there. Is this possible?
So to visualize it differently, right now:
1. You list a category of publications using a shortcode. So I have a list on a page of publications (pub 1, pub 2, etc)
2. When someone clicks on the title of pub 1, they are sent to pub 1’s page.
3. On pub 1’s page, they now have the option to download other files associated with pub 1.What I want to do is cut out step two, so that step 3 is available right from the start, with step 1.
