Display only product in category to reduce clicks

    The SHOP page shows all the product categories. We also sell a Gift Certificate, which is setup as a product in the category called ‘Gift Certificate’. If you click the category image on the SHOP page for ‘Gift Certificate’ you get the category page. Since there is only one product (Gift Certificate), is it possible to link directly to this product from the SHOP page, and bypass the category page? Any help would be appreciated.

    I see that your shop page is set to display product categories.

    With the inbuilt settings on the Customizer → WooCommerce → Product Catalog, you can set the shop page to show both categories and products. However, there’s no inbuilt way to further limit the page to display just a specific product in this case. Thus, this setting will show the Gift Certificate product in addition to all the other products on the site.

    However, you could search for a custom-coded solution for your goal. For that, I would recommend consulting with the WooCommerce Customizations Partners.

    Thanks for the info. I was aware of the option in the Customizer settings, but obviously don’t want to show all products on the Shop page in this situation. Maybe this could be a feature enhancement to control the SHOP page display at the category level. I will discuss the use of a custom solution with my client. Have a good day!
