• When referencing more than 2 footnotes after the same sentence, it would be great if there was an option to only display the first and last number.

    Example:
If I have 7 notes to reference, instead of displaying 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 we would like to display 1-7.

Is this feature in the roadmap? If not, is there a workaround to obtain this output?
We often have several notes for one sentence and the end result is quite overwhelming at the moment.

    Hi there,

That’s not a feature I currently have in place or have a workaround created for.

In your use case I can definitely see how it would be helpful.

Would you still need the footnotes to be numbered individually in the output below the content?

I’ve got a few feature I’m looking to integrate as far as numbering and reusing sources. It’s still in the planning phases at this point though so any feedback can help me come up with the best options.

    Hi Jason,

thank you for your prompt reply!
Yes, ideally the footnotes should still be numbered individually in the output below the post, but it is not strictly necessary.
For us is more important to be able to reference multiple notes at once or reuse the same note multiple times.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve added it to the feature requests list and will try to keep you updated.
