    Hi,

Unfortunately I can’t find a similar issue on the forum. My client is looking for two separate pages to read in 2 different job listing categories.

They are also looking to display the filter by category bar above. Ideally, just the parent category with it’s children categories in the dropdown. Is this possible? I’m willing to change code if needed

    Many thanks,
    Heather

    Hi Heather — @heathernebula!

To create category archive pages like this, you’ll need to enable full template support. There is a doc here for assistance with this:

    https://wpjobmanager.com/document/enabling-full-template-support/

Let us know if that does the trick for you.

    Cheers!

    Hi Jen,

Sorry for the delayed response. I had to put the site live since, and opted to use job type as a way to display the jobs on two different pages as a means to keep the category filter bar at the top.

The archive pages didn’t seem to include the filter bar when I tried it out, but maybe I’m missing something? Anyway my client is happy with how it is working now, but for future it may be useful to know

    Thanks,
    Heather

That’s correct, you won’t have the filter bar unless you use our [jobs] shortcode, which normally isn’t quite what you want when displaying an archive page.
