    Hi,
I’m working with the following plugin:
Photo Gallery Version 1.5.76 | By Photo Gallery Team

I find the plugin pretty good. However I have a problem with wide images. In the link you can see that the thumbnails are not sharp enough. The images are around 3000 px x 850 px and there are correctly displayed, but the thumbnails aren’t.
How can I do so that the thumbnails are correctly displayed?

Thanks in advance for your help.
    Kind regards
    Bettina

    Hi
Thank you for the quick answer.
I changed the settings exactly as indicated but unfortunately it didn’t work: the thumbnails are still blurry.
    What can I do?

    Thanks in advance!
    Bettina

    Dear @mengana,
    Thank you for the response.

What dimensions did you add in that field?
Can we have a screenshot with the settings from your end?

Hi, just 500 x 500 (as it was adviced in your link)
    Image dimensions are 0 x 0 px
and Generated thumbnail dimensions 500 x 500 px
    Image quality 100%

    Kind regards
    Bettina

    Dear @mengana,
    Thanks for the response.

Looks like you the thumbnail dimensions at your site are 500×199, so please recreate the thumbnail again.

Can we have a few screenshots from your end ?

    Hi
I see which is the problem: while entering 500 x 500 in “Generated thumbnail dimensions”, the system makes the images 500 wide, but since they are in landscape format, the height will be < 500 and that makes them to look like blurry.
I’ve tried with “Generated thumbnail dimensions” = 0 x 500 and now it looks like sharp enough, but the thumbnails are as big as the original images and so everything is slower….
Any idea how can I solve the problem?
    Thanks in advance!

    Dear @mengana,
    Thank you for your response.

    The thumbnails look great, indeed.

Please note that the values can be 800×800 as well.

The problem here is to either have smaller thumbnails to load faster or bigger ones that will look good.

    Sincerely,

Dear Asya, now I’ve used 800×800 and the thumbnails look like acceptable.
Thank you very much for your support!
    Kind regards
    Bettina
