    Hi,

I know this is a very basic question, but somehow i’m confused.
I’d like to display the event’s date on the event details page (i think that’s generated by single-event.php.) For some reason, I can’t seem to have the date on top of the event. Am I missing something, maybe a setting? I haven’t changed the code anywhere.

BTW, i remember this information used to appear on top of event in older (last year) versions.

Thanks for your help and a great plugin!

    Best,
    Shaguna

    Thanks, you’re welcome :).

If you don’t have a single-event.php in your theme, then single.php is used and automatically inserts event data at the top. If single-event.php is present then that is used.

Most themes would fall under the former. And it may be that the data is there, but hidden or misplaced because of styling applied by the theme. Feel free to link to your site, but another way of debugging this would be to switch to TwentyTwelve temporarily.
